I remember my father always just say to me, like when I was first moving graduate from school and I'm moving to New York. Like you're young, you could do that. And then slowly these life things start to encroach,. You get into a relationship and suddenly there's that and you're answering to that. There's another person and each thing becomes the next thing. Here we've been together almost 30 years, which is insane to me. It took me a lot longer to be able to let go and be like, I don't fucking care.
