The Importance of a Good Gait Evaluation and Postural Exam
Yanda: The expression of gait, the expression of posture is directly linked to the CNS's integration of information. If you are really paying attention, you should see the CIS captured in its outer expression in habitual movement patterns. These include posture, breathing, gait, fine motor function. Yanda: This is where the strength of observation comes in and it is important to train your eye and look at the building blocks of what constitutes that movement or that posture.
