The Impact of the Export Ban on India's Position as a Responsible Leader
African countries relying heavily on India's imports of rice from here are in a bit of panic. There is a clause that says that if there is a special request from the importing country to government of India, then government of India can consider that for food security purpose. But then those countries, their governments have to write to government and then they will ask the discretion whether to supply to this government or not. That's not the way we are very, very unreliable supplier already.
