You could even do four days at the gym, right? If you have the time for it. I didn't even think about pulling light on the days that you squat heavy to help manage that recovery. It's just a bad idea overall. You're not going to get stronger. And if you're using sufficiently heavy weights to create stress, that stress comes out in terms of like things like tendinitis and joint pain and stuff like that.
