The Desk and the Telephone and the Microphone All Seem Less Intrusive

I came to England by boat. What the other person meets in the office with you is perhaps a different space than what they met with me 12 years ago. I do feel sometimes when a desk shrinks and when you have a conversation taken place, if not an optical illusion, which I think it is. The meaning of them all changed. You arrived at that from a different space. Well, I do that every day. It isn't really clear what the particular problem is actually. There is a time gap, perhaps, but perhaps not.
