Doug is the founder of Ocean Recovery Alliance, a non-profit dedicated to ocean cleanup in Asia. The Hong Kong native has been swimming for 30 years and swam at Berkeley before setting up his NGO 12 years ago. Doug says he's seen more plastic bags floating on water than any other swimmer because people don't think about it when they're in the water.
