Do We Need an Innovation in Money?
The US has gone from like 3% compound growth. And the last 15 years have been more like one to one and a half. We've had such subpar growth in the standard of living that our demographics are deteriorating. They're worse in Europe, they're worse in Japan, worse in China. I don't think we need an innovation in money; what we need is more technological innovation. The dollar is appreciating. You see how you can take that conversation away from the velocity factor.
