Do You Think There Should Be More Transparency in the Algorithm?
Tech companies try to hide behind this veil of corporate secrecy, that we have proprietary algorithms. We're entitled to this intellectual property but there's so much more they could reveal about the algorithm which would help users and content producers. Katie: Do you think there's an appetite from people to understand better why they're being served up? Noah: I think there's two sides to it. There's one where you're actually getting served things that you want to watch. Unfortunately, because the algorithm is a machine, there is a risk as well.
