The Impact of Intergenerational Trauma on My Life

I think it was COVID really made me go inwards a lot. I wrote a thesis about epigenetics and how trauma goes through a DNA. After that three months, after that is when I ended up in the psych ward. It's also even worse in our community. African first born daughters go through the worst because our mothers would have lived vicarous through us. Our fathers either hate us or admire us because we remind them of their mother. And I was just like, you know what, let's break something, the mental problem.
