The Problem With Solar Panel Waste

Solar panels are dumped because in most places, there's no legal requirement to recycle them. Many solar farms only started their lives in the 2000s and have a lifespan of 25-ish years. We produce around 400 million tonnes of plastic waste every single year so 200 million tonnes is no small amount of rubbish.
