The European Energy System Is a Fractal

If Europe were to use more orderly forms of energy like natural gas and nuclear, one could argue that we would have had disorder at the geopolitical stage. Putin wouldn't have had the courage perhaps to invade Ukraine if Europe would be not so obviously weak. The Russians are very observant. They knew exactly what is going on. This is a good moment for them to strike, because after all they could not rely on us not waking up to the problem and fixing it. As it happens it seems not to have worked out very well for him. His own armed services have not performed well at all.
