The Lesbian Community in a City
The neighborhood had come on to some hard times economically. Theoretically it was 30 first street to like 20 fifth street and harrison to a cherry. Most women knew about rural lesbian communities where women would band together by forty acres out in the woods somewhere, and then start building a community. We definitely saw a reason to have it in a city, cause there were jobs available, homes already built.
