The Politics of Interest Rates in the GTAN
The place where it's politically most sensitive to raise interest rates in the GTAN is probably the UK because of floating index basis for real estate. We haven't had that adjustment in house prices yet in the UK. So if we're going to have that adjustment in the house price in the UK, we would think so. But I suppose one of the big things here is look, central banks will not go down without a fight and if central banks do not go downwithout a fight, then we're going higher hurry.
