"I have an intuition for how we can have a binary tree of key agreements or whatever to make the whole group addressable from a single key," he says. "That makes sense to me where I'm not clear is how the ratcheting part of this works, right? But as the protocol runs and people are sending thousands of messages, what's updated?" He continues: "One of these camps that go from your leaf to the root, you know, is going to be interesting for me because I will have a key material to at least decrypt one of them."
