"I didn't initially like paul's theory either, because, personally, i am just not big on pain. So reading the book, there is one kind of hurt so good example that paul gives that i did actually think it was pretty intriguing," he says. "So well, you know what? Let me play you something i recorded over the week end with my almost perfect gor friend, kirkley, how would you describe my tolerance for pain? Very low."
Some people think humans are natural pleasure seekers. But not psychologist Paul Bloom. In his new book, “The Sweet Spot,” Paul says we’re pain seekers, too.
