In flanders, king, harold's brother, tostig was still seething with rage and wounded pride those ungrateful savages of northumbria had rebelled against him. And as a result, he had spent the last six months living in exile with his forking father in law. Yet apparently, while harold could bring tostig's exile to an end with a flick of his finger, he did nothing. Based on what happens next, i imagine the fact that harold wouldn't end this exile was just one on a long list of grievances that to stig was nurturing close to his heart.
