Application Security - I'm Kind of Curious About That

I know there's a lot of technical training. They stopped development of Windows for, I don't know, a couple months or something like that. And the thing I was kind of curious about is like, how did they end up doing like the program side of it in terms of was, do they set up a group that did that? Cause I remember there was this trustworthy computing group that was around for a while. You know, I'd love to hear more about that.
