All new technologies almost always create problems for society. But what always happens is humans have the capability to control the technology through laws, policies and regulations. I would argue it's the fault of our public policy that we've had a libertary an stante on technology in which we outsourced all the major decisions to private companies. We can actually adapt a i to human needs and move a i towards the public good like we did with past innovations.
