The Importance of Nationality in Judaism

Ben Gurion told the British committee that mandate is not our Bible. The whole idea of a homeland was created in the 1600s. Israel, rather the Holy Land, did not make us into a nationality. It's a Holy Land. It's not a homeland. So they took nationalism and made it into a, they completely emasculated Judaism and remade it in their own nationalist image.
