In other industries, if you worked in another industry, I don't know specifically about finance, law, academia, and they saw you were taking a new job every two years. They'd be like, something's wrong with this person or this isn't something I like to see on a resume. Whereas in tech, it's pretty normal. Granted, if it's just a ton of like three to nine months stints, that doesn't look great.
