The Consequences of Climate Change

If nothing is done by 2050, I would say that we're on track for warming in the range of 2.5 to 3 degrees. The IPCC does not see an increase in droughts in relation to climate change. Is there a danger of idolizing environmental concerns over spiritual matters? Can this ever border as a sin against the First Commandment?
