The Relationship Between China and India
For decades, for large parts of our history, there was a certain practicality about how far you can push these differences. It seems to me that one at a level where their posturing is that this belongs to us and that belongs to us. There's absolutely no way that there is a common ground there. India ceded that china peasiclly owned tibet, and concluded a treaty in 19 54. And the issue of the border cannot be divorced from tibet because obviously tibet is where india meets china,. So it was intimately connected with the status of tibet as well.
