Russian commercial IT sectors reliance on imported technologies for both software and hardware. The defense industrial complex likewise was dependent on to a certain amount on these imported components. It's a very interesting case I don't think we've seen anything like that when sanctions were imposed on Iran and North Korea it also showed how these countries domestic efforts can try to evolve and survive.
