Carbon - The Successor to C Plus Plus?

A group of people have decided to work on creating a successor language to see plus plus. It's meant to be something that you can incrementally adopt in an existing cplus plus project. But for carbon, inter operability is one of the key goals and priorities. And i think this his reallaty to finding aspect will either lead to its success or lack of success.
