How to Break Out of the Low Man on the Totem Pole

I think it's always tough to be working for the man without always knowing what's going on in the man's mind. For me, it's mostly I would love to learn what they're thinking and what they're dealing with. And maybe I'm not old enough or mature enough to do that. It's actually a pretty good job to be in if you suck at managing people.
