The US has an impregnable geography in terms of our homeland. We've got oceanic buffers, where the enemy would have to cross 3000 miles of ocean. China lacks those advantages and has to spend serious national treasure on one beltOne road to recreate what we have innately. The petrodollar system was originally set up as a top down construct but I kind of want to sort of shed some light on the fact that, look, every day, the dollar has to earn its exorbitant privilege.
