The Purpose of School Based Education

Education equips people with a sense of worth and self esteem. It creates a sort of armour and resilience and a sense of entitlement. If it's distributed amongst all learners helps with social mobility and equity. And to me, there's no point in educating children to be able to succeed academically if we're not educating them to contribute positively to the world.
