The Objective Structure of Time

The idea, the technical name for it is that there's a foliation of space time. So imagine space time is being four-dimensional and having kind of three spatial dimensions and one time dimension. And then you imagine slicing it like a baloney into all of these layers that just one lies on top of the other. Right? That was Newton's picture. Nothing to do with anybody's reference frame or anything. This is just objectively the structure of time. What happens when you go to relativity, and it's just you just have to keep stuff about reference frames out of it has nothing to do with reference frames or anything like that.
