The Chilean Water Problems
The process leaves behind a lot of very salty water which is known as brine once you've removed the fresh stuff. Environmental groups are worried about the impact of this in the oceans. Chileans love their green lawns and they love to water them even though they don't have enough water to do that. The parks are changing the kind of plants they've got so they're not using as much grass which takes all that water.
