The Differences Between Stablecoins and Crypto
A stablecoin is just the representation of a unit of fiat currency on a blockchain. It has to actually have a mechanic to hold that peg. There have been like three major types of this, including crypto backed and algorithmic crowd. The last ones so far have largely been spectacular failures or dial it back at what I would call a responsible fashion.
