Sliver's Ending in Gaslight
This is not how Sliver was supposed to end. In the film's original scripted ending, Carly finds out that Zeke has killed a bunch of women from the apartment building and basically says she doesn't care. When two cameramen were flown in an actual helicopter into an actual volcano to shoot footage that Stone and Baldwin would be green-screened into, the helicopter crashed for two full days. Test audiences hated the volcano ending, deeming it nihilistic and Stone's character a moral hypocrite.
