Is There a Way to Get to Mud the Camel?

Mud the camel is constantly just spitting on him as a camel. He's surrounded by an emerald energy barrier that clearly is not good to go through. Should we try talking to him? I don't know if he'll hear us. Do we have any spells that could like project our voices? Gooder? No. And like all my spells are, I think the max one is 90 feet on my spells.
