There's new debate about whether we should even be calling an elective induction. After 39 weeks, there really isn't any known ben t to the baby to stayi inside longer. The process of just getting you into labor may take longer. But i do agree that it's, the idea of getting a duce after 39 weeks should not be one of, like, shame that you're doing something youre purely elective and it's a bad idea. ItJust takes longer compared to doing it spontaneously.
