Public Transport Plus Electric Is What We Need
In 20 21, the year just behind us, forty two thousand 915 people died on. Highways from car accidents. We are really a country of killing highways. And there's clearly a way that this could be drastically reduced with all kinds of other social benefits,. and that is if we moved to a proper system of high quality, regular public transport. If we combined mass transit with shifting to electric rather than fossil fuels as a way to run them, we get a tufer. We get many fewer peopl dying, much less energy used up. It's much easier and cheaper to move large groups of people in public transport than to have everyone own a private car which sits idle most
