Some of the block room guys like Warren Togami talking about PS swap. PS swap allows direct peers to move funds from off chain to on chain and I think the other way around. So you basically could request a peer where the liquidity in the channel is all on your side. You send funds over to them and they swap it out on chain with you and you get the funds returned on chain.
