The Crime of Alexander the Great
Sasha Pachushkin was found guilty of murdering 48 people in Russia. He confessed to 63 murders but later changed his mind and said he did it because if he didn't he wouldn't be able to stand it later. The victims were poor Russian people living in a crumbling urban government housing environment who felt like they didn't matter. In no way did they ever suspect it was Alexander who they actually called Sasha, which is a common nickname for him and Russia.
