The Opposition to Fundamental Consciousness
The viewer will present and defend is illusionism about fundamental consciousness. In one sentence, it's a view that fundamental consciousness does not exist but merely seems to exist. The problem is that we don't understand how these fundamental experiences could be nothing over and above the physical. But my view is that there are no arguments strong enough to justify refusing to take the illusionist conception seriously.
