The New Testament's Discourse on Jesus Is Derivatively Divine
The way that the New Testament talks about Jesus, the divine things are attributed to him derivatively in virtue of God's activity on him. The Nicene tradition will say no, this is what's interesting about the Nicene tradition because the human things are said of him derived from his incarnation. And also all the New Testament's discourse about his empowerment and authorization also is understood with respect to his human nature. So it seemed to be clear if we're going to go by the New testament's way of talking, everything that is divine about Jesus is derivatively divine. That just doesn't appear in the New Testament.
