A Writer's Generation
Everybody around me were writers. I'm part of a writer's generation now. In rumania, it's called the generation of the eighties or the blugins generation. Of course, we suffered for all the atrocities by that time. We suffered very much about it. But at the same time, we wanted to make literature. This was our most important thing. This was what kept us alive. Rumania needed culture. The desert had to have some water. Even love poems that we wrote, they were erer unacceptable for the regime because they showed freedom of mind.
