How to Deal With a Cease and Desist Letter
A cease and desist letter is basically the cheapest possible way they can get you to stop doing something that they don't like. The first step is to read the letter, see what they're claiming to have rights to and then see if there's an actual case there. A lot of times people do sort of overestimate the amount of money or the amount of intellectual property they can take from someone else.
