In May 2020, Dimitrii launched an online petition asking city officials to open a community grocery store. He posted it on a neighborhood Facebook group, and hundreds of residents signed. Among them was longtime resident Maurice Gagniech. "Maurice was a 30-year-old sommelier," says Dimitrii.
