Central Asian Presidents Forced Putin to Wait for Him
Kyrgyzstan president Sadid Japad made Putin wait for a handshake. He's only been in the draw for less than two years and is economically hugely dependent on Russia. The message that the Central Asian presidents were giving out is that Putin and the Kremlin are a brand which we're now wary of, says Tom Nichols.
