Are You a Southern Baptist or a Baptist?

Sally Kohn grew up Southern Baptist in Texas, which is maybe the worst place to grow up. But she was called to ministry and went to seminary there at Baylor. She eventually took the academic route because it was actually easier than trying to be a pastor as a woman in the Baptist church. So I took that to make her out went to Fuller Seminary for my PhD in New Testament.
