We want to land about 60 miles off of San Diego every time. What you try to do is you come in at the same velocity and you'll dig deep into the atmosphere just a little bit, bleed off some of the heat and then you skip out of it. That extends your range but also reduces your overall heat rate. We use LiDAR as what we call relative navigation. It's going to be a really important technology to help not only the crew, but eventually if you want to fly autonomous spacecraft without the crew.
