For the first time in my estimation, a generation of executives have grown up with and understand gaming. Nintendo clearly had their hand in every aspect of this production. They were not going to allow it to deviate from the brand values of Super Mario. And then, you know, and I think maybe a final factor is because video game companies make so much money.
