People love to have little names for things and little rules for things, especially people who are like us over educated. I keep thinking of also in the New Yorker, the 10,000 hour rule. That this idea that there's kind of no such thing as inborn talent. And it's like, it becomes this real thing once we have a term for it. But what travels from that article is not the nuance and it's not the caveats, it's the little rule.
