There are definitely challenges in planning for a partnership with an age gap. Fortunately, the financial system is very flexible and society is much more accepting of equal partnerships than it was just a few decades ago. But lengthening the time scales for a relationship has got implications. None of these things are insurmountable, as long as they're intentional and collaborative with our partners.
