I think a tough time I came to the conclusion that you, under no circumstances, could ever put more information into a region of space than its area. That was called the holographic principle. There should be if it's absolutely impossible that under any circumstances, you can ever contain more than an area's worth of information. Again, perhaps there should be a description of it in terms of a theory which lives on the boundary.
