i don't think of those sorts of things as moral transactions. Utilitarianism seems to be something that's really focused on your individual interactions with other people. It is looking like that that actually violates the spirit of utilitarianism. Because if we're supposed to treat everybody equally, then pretty much anybody you interact with is away less needy than people half way across the world. That wol no te mast happiness for all concerned.
