In a liminal age, we are quicker to cut people off who don't line up with our expectations or our needs. We're less kind to each other in this place where we're trying to figure out where we're going as a culture. And that is going to feel like we are being forced to operate at a capacity that is not finite. It's an early transhumanism, the way that we use technology now.
